zipped driver problem

I,ve downloaded a zipped driver , size 2.2mb to college network. need to get driver to pc at home (not on net).Is it possible to do so using floppies as college system will not recognise my usb writer?

unless you first unpack it. Some drivers unzip and install themselves automatically, but assuming you can unpack the archive yourself, do the unzipping to a temporary folder on your hard drive, and then use a file splitter to put the file onto two (or probably more) floppies.

Does the manufacturer's web site not offer the driver as a download in foppy format? Some of them do.
