i recently compressed one of my programmes into a rar file and protected it with a password the thing is i i have forgot it the thing i hoped it was i have tryed in lower and upper case but just get error my mate gave me a programme to recover it but it does not find it any ideas thanks

If passwords were were really easy to get around, what would be the point in having/using them?

The whole point of using a password to protect somthing is to prevent someone who does not know the password from seeing it. It is a real bummer when it is you who set the password, and also you who does not have the password.
