ZIP Drives

I have a stock of 100 Mb zip disc which would be useful for Mac/PC data transfers.

Can an Iomega 250 Mb Zip USB drive read and/or write to 100 Mb zip discs.

Grateful for any advice.

Yes - but only as 100Mb capacity, of course.

You may not be able to use the Iomegaware disk copy with different size disks, but you can do it manually. Been a long time since I used it but seem to remember the utility would not allow transfer from 250 to 100 Mb, for safety I suppose.

I have a 250mb drive but only use 100mb disks.
If you are using XP Home or pro you do not even need the Iomega software to use the zip drive.
