ZIP drive installation

Hi I have got a ZIP drive for windows 95 or before (its quite ancient!!) I am running Windows XP on my PC and am trying to install the ZIP drive but it wont let me saying a kernel.dll file is missing is this because the ZIP drive was made too early, I thought Windows XP was backwardly compatible? I can try and install again to tell you what the error message says in full if need be :-)

Had a zip drive, but you do need the drivers even when using xp

Google for them or post back and will pm to you .

But to be honest, the zip dive has gone the way of the 'B' drive , time to move on to the usb stick
