Zalman Heatsinks

I have been looking at the Zalman Flower 7000a ALCU heatsink ant was thinking of getting one, any comments on it?

Also has anywhere seen where you can buy on OC/Dabs/Ebuyer dont. Quietpc (the "offical" retailer) sells them at 34 inc P&P, anther company PIXMANIA.CO.UK sells them at 14 + 9P&P! which is 23pounds sounds very good.. to good infact so does anyone used this site?

You are comparing different models,the ALCU one from Quietpc is £29.Seems to be OEM from Pixmania and built mainly for Intel boards but can be used with AMD if you have the holes around processor.

All of our machines are now fitted with Zalman heatsinks - the ones with the fans on a separate bracket. We find them excellent and very quiet.

Be careful with the larger models for high power CPUs - they are VERY heavy and may exceed the weight ratings or your motherboard.

Bowsprit no im comparing the two cnps7000 al&cu series, and ihave a p4 so no worries there.

And €d thanks for you conceb but getting alcu version which is under 450g which is intels recomendation..
