I know it is a strange title on a techie forum but i have had a look round at PCW and Komplett etc. and have seen a couple of systems. Now I want to see what members of the forum can come up with for me. I am upgradeing an Athlon XP2000 system running WINXP SP1, 512ram, 128 fx5200 graphics, 20 + 80 gig HDD, CDRW, DVD, 17" CRT Monitor, etc.
I email, internet, copy music (legitimately), process digital photos, play games (not on enough of a regular basis for my liking) which include silent hunter 3, Far Cry, deus ex, tiger woods 2006 serious sam, civ3, half life, football manager 2005. Hope this gives you an idea of what kind of user i am. I may even overhaul this system and give it to number one son for his room then thrash him at tw2005. the obvious thing is that i want maximum wallop for least amount of money. don't we all. the ball is in your court.

If you also add the 19 TFC moniter they are doing its still within your budget.

It had the added bonus of a scart socket if you want to connect to your TV
