Are you logged on to XP as an administrator?

  leeknight67 17:39 21 Aug 04

how do you mean administatot??

  leeknight67 17:46 21 Aug 04

what do i do on the programme compatilibility wizard?

  iambeavis 17:47 21 Aug 04

If you are not logged on as an administrator account in XP you are unable to install programmes.

administrator, go to start, control panel, user accounts icon, there should be the word "administrator" next to your name. If your not logged on as administrator then you will be limited to what you can do being logged on as a guest.

can you right click on the cd-drive and explore the cd contents until you find one labelled setup.exe or similarily named.

Just follow the Program Compatibility Wizard.

When you are asked "How do you want to locate the program that you would like to run with compatibility settings?"

Choose: I want to use the program in the CD-ROM drive
