ive overclocked my 2700 to 2253@ 173x13 but i can NOT go over 2300 no matter what!!!??.
Every time i go over 2300 even if i reduced the multiplier both 3d marks and ut2003 "lock up" after the temperature goes over 50c.
im running an abit nf7-s, 2700ddr, ati 9600pro 128.with enermax 8case fans plus the 2 fans on the psu plus winxp.
ive set my memory timings by SPD and just pushed the vcore to 1.7v.
does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do to inprove?

You have probably reached the limit of your motherboard. Therefore to squeeze more power you may have to buy a new motherboard, which can handle a faster processor. However, I think I am right in saying that a AMD 3000 or 3200 doesn't run much faster and so more preformance may not be possible at all.

10 fans! Wow the computer must sound like a jet engine.

i actually have 12 fans if u count the ati9600. should i get an new heatsink or blower like the volcano 7? but im not complaining ince im better than a p4 2800 which is fine with me!! :>
