Hello everyone,
I have an Asus A7V133 motherboard with the latest bios (1009). I currently have a 1.4Mhz Athlon cpu. I have checked on AMD`s site and it tells me that I can go up to an XP 2100cpu.
I have the chance to purchase one that I think is a Th`bred, No AXDA2100KV3C can anyone tell me if this will be OK. The reason for upgrade is to use Adobe Premiere, that requires SSE(what ever that is)

Pamy,

because of the way AMD name their cpu,s, The XP 2100,
will probably only run at about 1400 Mhz.

Joe R, I think it actually runs at 1.7Ghz, but thats not the point for upgrade, it has SSE that mine does not, and Adobe Premier wants it

The XP2100 runs at 1.73ghz if the AMD site says it will take a 2100 go for it.
They are selling on e-bay for about £32.
