XP Welcome Screen

I'm sure many of you have answered this question many times, but I've had a look and I can;t find it anywhere via searching! (Probably because I am useless at searching for anything!)

I am the only user of my laptop, so it seems a bit pointless having a welcome screen to select which user! I have heard that you can skip this screen and go directly to the desktop. How do I do this?

I remember something about typing something along the lines of 'passwords2' into the run box to make something appear. Does that have anything to do with it?

Thanks :)

Start, Run and type in

control userpasswords2

and click OK

Untick Users must enter a password

might do it

Alternatively use TweakUI click here

Thanks VoG. The control userpasswords2 thing worked fine. My startup is now a lot quicker.

Thanks again :)
