Hi Recently purchased a new computer, it has XP,
Never used XP before, I have 4 user Account's when If I connect to the internet on my account then I log off and my children log on to there account they have to connect to the Internet again, Is there a setting in XP that lets you stay connected as you switch between users,

I presume you are using dial up connections and not broadband which is always on as it were.

Is this a system where you dial up to get a broadband connection? Do you click an icon and then wait whilst dialing takes place, to eventually get a broadband connection?

You need to enable RAS connections.

Do you have service pack 2 installed? I found after updating to service pack 2, my broadband connection stayed active when switching between users.
