XP task manager - No menus displayed

  reburner57 20:46 14 Jul 03

I've been running XP Home for a while now (with no problems) and have just noticed something weird. When I do a CTRL ALT DEL to bring up task manager I have no menus. I just get a resizable box with a list of apps running.
No "file option view help" menu and no
"apps processes performance networking" menu.
The only buttones i've got are the ones on the bottom (switch task etc.)

Does anyone know what is going on. I cant find any reference to being able to swith the menus on or off. and at the moment I have no way of seeing what processes are running.

Presumably by double-clicking on the thin blue line?

(For the benefit of anybody doing a search.)
