Hi all,
I run a Hp Pavilion zd7000 laptop and it's 2 years old and I keep it as healthy as I can. Just recently I have been getting a stop error message appear on my machine causing it to go to blue screen and restart. The info I get on this error is as follows:
Device driver stop error.
NPdriver.sys address f30f2fa5 base at f30ED000, date stamp.

I solved this temporarily by going to hp's site and reinstalling the graphix card software (GEForce fx Go5600). However when I update the card with the latest windowsxp driver that's when the problem seems to occur and I play a game that needs the latest driver on it!
Can someone give me advice what to do on this please?
Many thanks
Sean

Cheers

still ot working but now it's giving me this:
STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER

CAUSE
This issue may occur if the display driver is caught in an infinite loop while it waits for the video hardware to become idle. This issue typically indicates a problem with the video hardware or that the display driver cannot program the hardware correctly.

Sigh.....
