Yesterday I downloaded and installed a new driver for my cisco wireless pcimca card.

Now when I turn on my Laptop the start up screen has changed its format. It looks more like win 2000 start up with respect to the selection of user profile selector (a pulldown list)

Before I used to have a graphic (of a frog)

Also the logof/shut down has changed.

Startup also appeasrs to be slower.

Any ideas

TIA

Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the way users log on or off > Tick "Use the welcome screen" > Apply options.

Thanks a lot.

It helped to a point. The updated driver has diabled the start up option i had. Not to worry as it still works, just not so pretty.
