I looked at this thread with interest because, I too, have a wireless keyboard and mouse and cannot start in safe mode.

I got in to the USB Configuration in the BIOS system, and managed to set the Legacy enabled bit OK. I can't start in safe mode though. On starting up and pressing F8, I end up with a window that asks what I want to start up with and are given three alternative:- D drive DVD, HDD and the Epson other drive which comes from installing their printer.

Where do I get the Safe Mode from?

The wireless keyboard is obviously working by virtue of the fact that I can get in to the BIOS set up and the F8 key also gives an alternative start mode, but not the one I am looking for!

when you get to the F8 bit select hard drive then immediately after that press F8 again and you will end up in safe mode.

Thanks very much for that. I will give it a whirl and see what happens.
