XP shutdown Problems

To those people in the past that have highlighted shutdown times in excess of one minute using XP, I stumbled across this :-
In “Administrative Tools”(via Control Panel) under “Local Security Policy” – “Security Options”
Scroll to – “Shutdown-Clear Virtual Memory Pagefile” and if it is |Enabled select Disabled using the Action tab.

This changed my shutdown time to approximately 5secs.

But you might want the added security that enabling this function
