xp shutdown problem

when i shut down windows xp i get the message prompting me to shut down rundll32.exe first. what is it and how can i get rid of the message every time i try to shut down windows xp. Thanks

RUNDLL32 is the Microsoft Windows program that loads DLLs into memory so that they can be used by specific programs or by Windows.
As for how , i'll leave that to the more technical minded on this site
