XP Setup

Hi,
I had a problem with my laptop and thought that reinstalling XP would help. However, I stopped the installation part way through when I said that it would delete all of my previous settings.
now, on start up, it gives me the option, from a black screen, to return to the setup state or load XP. If i am not quick enough it will go to the setup screen and I have to F3 out of it.
How can I get back to just a normal boot up and get rid of the 'setup' option?

Thanks

Try fixing the master boot record click here You need a XP CD to do this.

Pay particular attention to this bit "Microsoft is exceptionally vague regarding the conditions under which fixmbr can cause problems although they are clear about the consequences (losing all data on the hard drive), so use this at your own risk."

I went onto MSCONFIG and changed things from there. Found a posting on here.
Many thanks
