XP settings

Does anyone know how I can move the IE favourites list from one personal setting to another on the same computer?

Copy the favorites folder from:

C:\Documents and Settings\Your name here\Favorites

...now paste the favorites folder to:

C:\Documents and Settings\their name here\Favorites

Need to be logged in as an admin to see all files and folders.

In IE, File Import and Export. Follow the wizard and copy to floppy or whatever. In second account do the same but import the settings from the floppy.

Either method will work!

Open IE and click on File. then Import and Export then follow the wizzard to export favorites and save to a location that you choose.

In the "new" account or the personal setting you want to access the favorites from, right click start and explore all users. Browse to the file in the original user account and drag it to a folder such as my documents in the new user acount.

Press windows key and "L" to switch user and open "new" user account.

Open IE in this account and file - import export and follow the wizzard to import the favorites folder from the location you placed it in.

Alternatively, you could always copy to floppy or CD and import from there.

OK you lot...so it took me longer to type!!!

Thanks for your help, worked like a dream.
