Is it possible to make a folder or file containing all the important and relevent files to be able to create a CD for use to reboot and re-install in the event of a major problem like system crash or if you find that you unable to repair or reboot normally
I dont have the original install CD here
The supplier insists that its here somewhere but I cant find one!
Any ideas folks
Many thanks in advance

use an app called norton ghost or something similar to create a backup image of your data, then if it all goes t*ts up you can just restore you system.

I asked a similar question about 2 weeks ago & was recomended Acronis True Image 7. I am delighted with it it seems to cover every concievable way of restoring from a boot disc, and restoration during booting to complete copies.

I can also recommend Acronis True Image 7. I've got version 6 which I've had to use a few times, other alternatives are Norton Ghost and DriveImage. HTH TR
