XP reactivation. Any ideas

I am about to upgrade my PC & put a new motherboard & hard drive in. The old hard drive I am going to use as another back up & put XP etc onto the new drive. Does anyone have a clue how to reactivate XP as I presume Microsoft will not allow it to be used twice.

Yes, MS will allow it. You will be given a number to call.

When you reinstall XP it will detect the new hardware...

When you activate it, you'll either get a "Congradulations" or you'll have to phone MS up.

Thanks for this. So just load it on as before, take note of the No & call them.

As long as it is a pukka CD and you have the CD key you should have no problems as long as you have a telephone.
