I had 2 power management profiles set up under power schemes, ‘Always On’ & ‘Normal’. These have recently disappeared and no options are available under the drop-down arrow, nor can I recreate any more schemes as there are no options available under the power scheme settings. Any ideas?

click here type in power management or go to the Microsoft knowledge Base you will find many articles on your issue

Thanks for the suggestion. I had already tried this without any success. Do you have any particular articles in mind?

Thanx

A further update to this problem – I had to reinstall my PC from a previous Ghost image, and the power profiles all reappeared again, however, recreating a home network with the XP wizard removed them all again. Does anybody have any ideas why this could be happening?

Thanx
