I changed the network card on a computer running xp pro and it created a new connection.
When I setup the IP info, it warned it was already in use by another connection but was hidden because the adaptor was missing.
Does anyone know how to show these hidden connections?. It only seems to ever show the one that works.

Check in the Device Manager

By default, Windows XP will not display all installed devices/drivers.

To display the complete list in device manager,
select from the View-menu to "Show Hidden Devices".

I think you will then find and be able to remove the old network card/connection.

I hope this helps :o)
