XP losing time

  micktrish 02:13 12 Jun 05

Everytime I switch my computer on the time shown by Win XP Home is always wrong, sometimes only a few hours out and sometimes just minutes and this happens everytime. The Bios time and date settings are OK, just windows time, anyone any ideas.

Right click on the clock click on adjust date and time click on Internet Time tick the box and click on adjust now and see if that makes a difference.

Have a look click here The free progs won't tell you why your clock is out but they will periodically set the time correctly! I am assuming of-course that they will enable you to set your own time zone. There is also a free prog 'settime2' which you can Google for. I use it and it's fine.
