When I run the windows XP disc on clean install method because my HDD is blank It refuses to find my Hard Drive. So I feed it the Hard disk controller that I use which is a HPT370. I use a Maxtor Hard disk. It takes the drivers but then refuses to co-operate at all. Any ideas?

Yes I can see the HDD in bios. The disk refuses to accept my drivers so it either freezes on the select hard disk or just fails completely. It always accepts the drivers but never uses them and I didn't have a floppy disk with the seperate SCSI drivers.
