hi... i am running 2 hard drives on my pc and am thinking of re installing xp...is it possible to do a xp install to different hard drive...the drag and drop my files from one hd to another...ta

Would it not be easier to copy all your important files and folders and anything else you want to keep to your second hard drive, then format the hard drive the O/S is on should you want to. Thats what I do.

Yes you could install to D: for instance,
but you couldn't then format the C: drive to wipe it totally clean as some vital boot files will be in the root of C; drive.

Why do you want to reinstall do you have problems with your current XP instalation?
