Hi all ,
Ive just installed xp on my father in laws old pc .I have put it on a hard drive taken out of an old pc.
Every thing was fine and installed ok until running for the first time with out install cd , when the screen went black with a message of INPUT NOT SUPPORTED . I started up in safe mode and the only thing i could see that the graphics card only shows 4bits intead of 16/32bit . Do you think that i need to change the graphics card.
Also , is it possible to put windows media centre over xp with out taking off my programmes .
Thanks ,
civicr

Take a look at these two links for Input not Supported click here and click here it sounds like a refresh rate or resolution problem between your graphics card and monitor.

Can't help with installing Media Centre over XP, sorry.

You need to install the correct XP graphics drivers for his video card.
