xp - how to install software for 1 user only

i have 2 users on my xp pro pc (both administrators) i need to install a piece of software on one acount (A) but must not be viewable or affect other account (B) (i have office 2000 on both accounts (A+B) but need to put office 97 on 1 account (A) without affecting how the other account (B) works with office 2000 - they must not be able to access office 97)

I have used this method with success: Install the software then remove the shortcuts from c:\documents and settings\userB\start menu\programs.
You may need to remove it from the all users folder as well, and put the shortcut into userA\start menu\programs
This way only user A will have access.

The other way is to right click the start menu button and select 'Explore all users'. You can drag and drop variious programs into the accounts you want. Programs in 'All users' will show up for every user etc.
