xp home or xp pro?

I am going to buy a version of windows xp. Should I buy the home or pro version?

I am going to use my stand alone computer to design a web site and then manage it. Parts of the site will be secure and I will be taking online payments. Will xp pro offer greater security and if so how does it do this? I have read all the info at Microsoft but this does not realy answer my question.

Any help would be appreciated.
