Norton's 360 will not install, symantec say because previous installation files on computer.
Used add/remove programs but maybe something in regestry. Is this easy to delete all symantec files that are found without causing computer to fail afterwards. This is not my machine but a friends who has paid and downloaded the Norton's on the computer.

Run the Norton removal tool to remove previous installation files then try to reinstall Norton 360.

Thanks will try this again it is just that Symantec suggested entering the registry to delete all of their products found. I was a little bothered that it could cause problems with the computer as it does work ok but no anti-virus protection.

Will try when I can next get to them Thanks.
