xp home event viewer

This is probably not important but is a bit annoying. The event log gives the following everytime I boot up.

Event ID 24, Event provider attempted to register query "select * from Win32_SystemConfigurationChangeEvent" whose target class "Win32_SystemConfigurationChangeEvent" does not exist. The query will be ignored.

Can anyone throw any light on it. It is just bugging me!!

Looks like a device issue. Device manager doesn't throw any further light on it. Hey Ho.
