XP Firewall killing Explorer

  chrisbroster 12:29 11 Nov 03

I recently ticked the box to activate the XP firewall on XP for my NTL dial up account. I also installed Norton Internet Security but didn't get on with it so I uninstalled it ASAP. However, now the XP firewall is preventing most content from getting through to Explorer 6.0. I have tried to disable the XP fireall in network connections but every time I dial up it re-enables it! I have tried netscape 7.0 and this works great.

Any ideas on how to disable the XP firewall and get explorer back?

I think it will be time to use ZoneAlarm then!

Many thanks
