XP Error Message when logging out

The following error is displayed when logging out of XP (SP1)

STOP
Coooo21a (Fatal Systems Error)
Windows Logon process Systems process terminated unexpectidly with
a status of 0xcooooo5 (0cxoooooooo0xoooooooo)
System has been shutdown

Any ideas?

Have you installed new hardware or equipment recently?

I also get that same message and then have to restart the machine manually. Running XP Home.

you are going to have to use your xp cd and run the repair module.
