My XP Pro machine is having a problem with crashing during the start up post. The error messages refer to -
Windows\mindump\min020303-05.dmp
Has anyone come across this?
Is it safe to delete it?

MINDUMP sort of sounds familiar.....

The minidump is one of several 'log files' that XP can create to help diagnose a fatal crash.

020303-05.dmp refers to the 5th minidump file created on Feb 3rd 2003.

See click here for further details.

Thanks oh wise one. Followed your lead and have saved it to read. Guess it is not only my computer that is faulty - I misread the error message - MINIDUMP it must be and not MINDUMP although the latter seems appropriae somehow.
