XFX 9300 / nForce ethernet controller trouble

Hi,

I've brought a XFX 9300 motherboard which I have installed into my HTPC case running XP 32bit, but am unable to get the ethernet driver installed. I've installed the nForce package from the support site, but windows is still not finding the drivers, even when I point the search to the folder. Does anyone have any ideas how to sort this?

Bump - anyone?

Try clicking on the "Installed drivers" or "driver detail" tab (in Device Manager) and getting the location and name of the driver files. Then manually delete. Then reboot and let Windows reinstall the drivers from wherever you choose to get them from.

In hardware manager, its showing as Ethernet controller, with no drivers installed - when I tell it to "search" in the folder where the nVidia program unzipped the drivers it doesn't find anything

Sorry - I may be duplicating what you have already done.
