I'm thinking of getting a Canon pixma MP600 multifunction printer. My camera uses xd picture cards so i'll need an adaptor to do pc-free printing. What type/make of adaptor should i get and how much are they.

click here Lists the XD memory card under the "Card Direct Printing" list, so it may have a suitable card reader built in.

Have checked Canon website and it says that i need the recommended adaptor which is not provided. It doesn't say what the recommended adaptor is though.

I have had bad experiences with using Xd cards in Card Readers, ending up with a card which cannot be used in the camera without re-formatting, and only managing to get the pictures off using a recovery program (Zero Assumption Recovery).

Try checking the camera manufacturer's website, I seem to remember seeing an adapter listed on the Fuji site.

Good luck!

This is probably what you want. Allows the xD card to be used in a CF slot.
