OK, first up the URL and a word about content.

URL: click here

Word: Contains 2 (randomly loaded) images of partial nudity. Some people may be offended, I however hope you wont!

The problem:

This site initially started out as what was going to be a little portfolio site. Somewhere along the was I started going beyond the HTML that I was only going to use and took a little JavaScript. The JS is the little news bit on the left with the funky scroller bit. Now the problem is, firefox this is fine and displays as it should. However, in IE it shows the 'Up' and 'Down' arrow but no text. You'll see what I mean.

What I want:

Why doesn't it work in IE but does in Firefox?
I know wothout the code for one of you guys to have a look at it is pretty much impossible to tell so: look below

This is in the head of the document:

<script type="text/javascript">
/*************************************************************************

regarding conditions under which you may use this code.

*************************************************************************/

var timer_id;
function scroll_iframe(frm,inc,dir) {
if (timer_id) clearTimeout(timer_id);
if (window.frames[frm]) {
if (dir == "v") window.frames[frm].scrollBy(0, inc);
else window.frames[frm].scrollBy(inc, 0);
timer_id = setTimeout("scroll_iframe('" + frm + "'," + inc + ",'" + dir + "')", 20);
}
}

function stopScroll() { if (timer_id) clearTimeout(timer_id); }
</script>

and this is the actual "Scroller":

<iframe name="scr1" id="scr1" scrolling="no" src="../page_text/latest.htm" width="185" height="90%" frameborder="0">Sorry, your browser doesn't support iframes.</iframe>
<div class="arrows">
<a href="javascript:;" onmouseover="scroll_iframe('scr1', -4, 'v'); window.status='Hover here to scroll up.'; return true" onmouseout="stopScroll(); window.status='; return true"><img src="../images/tri-up.gif" width="12" height="12" alt="" border="0"></a>
<a href="javascript:;" onmouseover="scroll_iframe('scr1', 4, 'v'); window.status='Hover here to scroll down.'; return true" onmouseout="stopScroll(); window.status='; return true"><img src="../images/tri-dn.gif" width="12" height="12" alt="" border="0"></a>
</div>

Anyone any ideas?
Regards,
Jay
