Keep getting a message "cannot copy files to cd as it is not writable". Any ideas? I am using a cd-rw which is fresh from the box, never used etc etc. Pretty new to all this so bear with me! Thanks

using win XP

How are you trying to write to the disc? If you're attempting to use Windows Explorer and drag'n'drop to the disc you will need install a packet writer and format the disc first. If you're CR-RW drive came with a Nero disc you will find these applications there - formating can usually be accessed by right-clicking on the CD-RW drive icon.

I think this is where I am going wrong. I didn't realise a brand new disc had to be formatted, I thought it was ready for use straight from box.
