I have a file which windows xp pro cant open. Tried & installed Omniformat V.4.2 from freeware995 to convert it but I just cant get the hang of how to use it. Any help appreciated please!
did this file just appear?does it have an extension like .jpg .txt etc?
No. Actually I copied a photo 'Save as' and usually I can open it, but this time windows says 'File type com-orient2' unable to open & suggests I indicate or find the software to open it.
It could be that this is some kind of protection from copying the picture, but I never ever heard of such a file.
copied photo from where exactly?does it have an extension?try renaming it with a .jpg or .bmp extension maybe
