Worm/nachi

Just got broadband and picked the above up the first time I connected.
Yesterday It was identified in: -
C:\WINDOWS\SYSYTEM32\WINS\DLLHOST.EXE
I am running AVG and Zone Alarm.
After removing with AVG, the report read 'Healed OK'.
However this morning the worm/nachi was now found in file: -
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{CD162.......241.EXE.
After being told to 'run AVG for windows to remove', the message then stated 'No virus detected during this test'.
How can this be?
Just turned my PC on again this afternoon and the worm/nachi is still here.
Whats going on?
If AVG cannot remove it, is there another anti virus program that can?
Also this makes me ask what is the point of using AVG in the first place if it cannot deal with what it is meant for?
A bit confused at the moment.
Any help appreciated,
Cal.

You need tp disable System Restore, scan with AVG to be sure it's gone, then re-enable System Restore click here

Do a search for 'nachi virus' through Google ,go down to 'nachi virus alert' and follow what it says.

I had it just after i'd had blueyonder broadband installed.

the suggestions.
I ended up running stinger.exe and it reported the discovery and removal of the worm.
I hope thats the end of it.
