working with a PDF document

  Daisy22 20:19 14 Mar 08

I've been sent a document in PDF format which I can open and read, but I need to make some changes to the text within it.

I've tried to "open with" Word, but then it comes up as a load of gobbley gook.

Is there a way to be able to do this, without me having to buy an expensive PDF programme?

Convert to Word with click here (Choose The free version - up to 5 pages)

Then convert back to PDF click here

PDF Xchange Viewer is also worth mentioning, you can type comments, highlight text, use sticky notes for comments and many other functions - all for free. click here

I use foxit reader which is free and allows typing on downloaded PDF documents.
I am not sure of the web site for Fixit so try a search
