"Work" menu on Word 2000

I’ve just discovered, a potentially useful tip when using MS Word…

You can add a “Work” button to the “menu” bar which you can then use to quickly access documents that you can choose to put there. It’s a bit like using the recently used files available via the “File” menu, but whatever you choose to put on the work menu doesn’t get shoved of the bottom of the list….

If any of you are familiar with this feature I’ve got 2 questions…

How do you remove items from this button?

There doesn’t seem to be a similar feature in Excel… is there?
