Word/Powerpoint 2003 Hyperlink problem

Folks,

I've a folder at work with a number of documents in.

I've a Word document that consists of a 2 column table...

Left hand column cells contain a brief description of an event. Right hand column cells contain the name of the relevant document that explains the event, and is a hyperlink to that document.

Most of the Hyperlinks are to Word documents. No problem there.

However, 2 of the links are to PowerPoint slideshows, (.pps files), and they both show the same oddity...

The Slideshow opens, but the only way to move to the next slide is by using the left/right arrow buttons, i.e. the space bar, and mouse click are having no effect. This is repeatable on different PCs.

Is this normal? Surely not?

Any advice welcommed.

Thanks,

Regards,

Simsy

I get the same. But if you right click on the slideshow and select full screen then the mouse click works.
I have no idea how to get it to open in full screen but am trying to find out.

I'll try that when I get back to work... But I'm off on holiday tomorrow!
