A word of warning about the Olympic games.

I hope that nobody succumbs, but it's worth mentioning that there are already a number of virus-laden emails in circulation that purport to come from 'official' Olympic sources. People are urged to visit fake Olympic websites, or click on links which lead to infected PDF downloads.

Enjoy the Olympics, but don't open anything which entices you to become more involved; there are no Olympic lotteries that will pay you big prize money, even if you haven't entered.

Don't open any E-mails from anyone that you don't know.
That way you'll never get caught out.

FE: I think you meant to say;

People are urged "NOT" to visit fake Olympic websites

No FE is correct...the emails urge you to visit such sites ! As the FE goes on to say.." don't open anything..."

My firewall tells me that I'm being scanned about every two and a half hours from a site in China. Could this be something similar?
