Word looks different

Office 2003.

My kids have changed the settings on Word. Thats fine, they've got to learn and nothing is broken. However, I don't know how to get it back to the 'default' view. The one where you can see the tabs at the top and sides. Any advice please?

Toolls|Options and set there.

Try the menu in the Normal button on the Tool bar to see if your Default or original template page is still listed.

Sounds as if the View has altered.

Click View On top toolbar - Normal or
- Print layout if thats what you had before.

Do you perhaps mean the rulers? If so then you need to go to View and click Rulers. In Normal view this shows the ruler at the top and in Print Layout view it shows them at top and left. Both Normal and Print Layout are available under View on the menubar or via the icons at the bottom left of the page in Word. Just hover over the icons to read the tool tips.

That's got 'er, 'Rulers'. Now i've no idea why I was so desperate to get them back, it just looks normal if you know what I mean. Thanks.
