I have to produce some simple financial accounts. How do I double-underline the totals? I thought I would try the symbols dialogue box and found a symbol called Double Low Line, which looked like the thing I wanted. Trouble is, all I could produce was a single underline, but not under the figures I wanted underlined. What am I doing wrong? Word 2002, by the way.

Select the total. Format>Font, Font tab, click the arrow under Underline styule and select the double line.
