Word 2003 Quetion

I have installed Word 2003 on my new Vista notebook and I am wondering how I can display he F-key shortcuts at the bottom of the window in Word. Some time ago PCA had an article on this very subject but alas I gave all my back ises to the local hospital for te boys to read.Can nyone help? J.B.

I don't know how to display shortcuts at the bottom of the screen but until you find a solution to that you may want to show them in tool tips when you hover over buttons on the toolbar. This is enabled in Tools, Customize, Options tab. Make sure that 'Show Screen Tips on toolbars' is ticked then tick 'Show shortcut keys in Screen Tips'.

Thanks for the advice, but what you suggested is not exactly what I wanted, that said I did what you said and will keep looking. Again, thanks for the help. J.B.

Tools, Customize, Toolbars tab and tick "Function Key Display".
