For references. I wish to place the numbers on certain words. Eg Adam4?.
But on the board (insert>symbols) I can't find 4 &6.I can find the normal 4&6 but not which I can place on top of the word.

Don't really understand what you are attempting here petern. You can use superscript to raise a character above words. Once you have typed the number, highlight it then go to Format/Font and place a tick in the box for Superscript. Note though if you do this you do need to go back in to Format to take the tick out or you will keep tying in Superscript.

ctrl & + for sub script

repeat to cancel
