Word 2000

I am running vista and tried a Office 2007 trial, which has expired and want to know if my documents will be affected if I uninstall it and revert to using my Office 200 from CD?

Your documents shouldn't be affected...

Unless you opened them and the resaved them in the default 2007 format, which is .docx rather than the .doc which is the earlier format.

If you have saved them in the new format then you can easily sort this by downloading and installing the "compatibilty pack" which is for just this eventuality...

Good luck,

You can re-arm/extend 5 times to 180days courtesy of MS utility.

This link is for Office 2010 but you may have it too.

Or Google 'extend Office 2007 trial'

Note:I seem to remember several uninstall/re-install/repair cycles when I tried Office 2007 (2010??) then went back to Office 2000.

Uninstall the trial with Revo Uninstaller on deepest setting.

Also took a bit of tweaking for Windows 7 to run Office 2000. But I got there in the end.

Hmm... some documents have returned to the word 2000 icon but when you open them an applet opens to report that required registry in formation is missing please rerun setup...I'll try a full restart!

Also try Help/Detect and repair in Word and Excel.
