i think there is a way of getting the document title and file path at the foot of a page when you print it.
eg c:\harrypotter\coursework\spells.doc


Is this true? If so how do i do it.

View/Header and Footer. Insert Autotext button, Filename and path.

That is for Word 2003. It should be similar in 2000.

I should have said to switch from Header to Footer using the Header and Footer toolbar (which will pop up) before you insert the Autotext.
